Once in a while, i'll happen to remember some book, dialect, website, person, game, tutorial or even a single forum post that has had some very huge meaning for me. But this post is not about me, it is about you.

I need few line stories from You, about books, basic dialects, websites, peoples, games, codes, tutorials, forum posts...just name it, as long as it is someway related to basic programming and has had some influence or just a big meaning for you.

Is there some dialect that did woke up your interest to program? Some simple basic game what you have played with your friends hours after hours? Some website with awesome athmosphere perhaps? A programming book, which is above law books in your opinion?

Throw me PM or email about them, add few lines of story why. Email is asciiworld@gmail.com

Ill reveal the idea of this in a near future, after i have some "data" on my hands. If you dont want, i do not reveal your personality, when i do use these replies in public later.

So, give me some data to use, please  Smiley

Ok, after considering this for a while, i realised that if i do not reviel more, peoples are not interested about this.
So, here goes nothing.

I want to create a simple christmas/yule calendar for the main site. I need 24 subjects for it. Peoples, dialects, websites, books....and one of them are revieled/day.
I give a small description about the subject of the day, maybe ill quote someone who has suggested it and so on.

But this wont become reality with out your help. If i figure all 24 subjects by myself, it would be "my calendar", and im  not interested to create such a thing.

23 first days are randomed with out placing subjects in anykind of succes-order. 24'th is something that gets #1 suggestions.

So use a day or three, give me some ideas, please  Smiley
