Hehe, its fun to play this classic time to time. No bugs found in my 20 minutes testing period.

I forgot to add the teleport function so I updated the program-see v.0.1.1. Press t to teleport to a random position.

Seems to work for me. As you say, probably just a server glitch at the time.

I don't know what the problem is. I am using FF and it seems to work fine. I uploaded v. 0.1.2:

Dec 16, 2009 v. 0.1.2

1) Fixed a bug where robots would move diagonally.
2) Changed distance calculation so robots converge on character better.
3) Changed exit placement so it would not be unreachable.

I also put it on File Pasta:

Can you give direct address to file at skydrive? Ill try it with wget. Most likely this is a browser issue but just for curiosity.

I find it odd that it isn't working. You grabbed the first version without any problems right?

Yep, first one came with out a problem.
I was able (as expected) to download file with wget from skydrive, so it is a browser problem. Well, as long as i got the file  Cheesy

One comment on this was that the robots are too predictable in their movements, so I am going to change the movement algo (again!) to a more random pattern. I think I'll make some glyphs for this as well using my Glyph Maker program. I haven't used it in a while.

I'll post an update when I get the new version done.

Isn't the point is that moves are predictable in this game?

Well, it was more the fact that they only moved n-s-e-w. You could easily out-run them moving diagonally. I have changed that so they can now move in any direction just like player character.
