Hi:

I realize some people don't actively follow the Yabasic blog, so I'd like to bring a few new posts to your attention:

* "Demonstration programs for Yabasic", http://yabasic.basicprogramming.org/blog/?p=46
* "Obfuscated Yabasic programs", http://yabasic.basicprogramming.org/blog/?p=44
* "Releasing Yabasic version 2.9.11", http://yabasic.basicprogramming.org/blog/?p=40

Would you folks like us to announce posts on the Yabasic blog in this topic in the future?

Cheers!
Thomas.

I think it would be good idea to announce about new blog posts here too. Maybe you should lock this topic so this would stay for announcements only, and possible comments would be posted in the blog post itself?

YES I think its a good idea to announce new entries in other areas. I daily visit here to see "new posts" but thats usually as far as I get.

BTW Ive been meaning to ask.
I have some very convoluted yabasic programs. Total spaghetti code that has grown piece by piece over years. It works, but Ive been meaning to rework it and combine many little ones into a larger one with options.

Where would be best to present such a monstrosity for comment?
I can just make the code available in a webdir and bravely open a thread for comentary.
Where would be best to do that?

I'm not sure, but would the wiki (http://basicprogramming.org/wiki/) be suitable?

Cheers,
Thomas.

Okay:

* I'll announce new blog posts in this topic as they are made.
* I've taken EKV's advice and locked this topic; it will be used just for announcements...

Cheers!
Thomas.
